District Portrait:

Eschersheim (population 15.000) is a northern district of Frankfurt. Four underground train lines with stops all along the Eschersheimer Landstrasse connect this suburb to the city center. Stores for everyday purposes and restaurants can be found here as well. The older part of Eschersheim has a village flair while pretty villas as well as apartment houses are found in the other areas of this suburb. The nearby river (Nidda) with its green surroundings offers many possibilities for walking, jogging and other outdoor activities.
